Story
<p>Firstly, I know that times are hard, but this is a good cause, involving brilliant people, so please read on to find out about the charity even if you don't donate! x</p>
<p>Choice Support is a fantastic and forward thinking charity that supports adults with learning disabilities. <a href="http://www.choicesupport.org.uk/">http://www.choicesupport.org.uk/</a></p>
<p>I have been working with them for the past year and a half, full time and now part time. I am forever being encouraged to continue my support, being fuelled by the progressive, determined and creative way the company moves closer and closer towards equality for all.</p>
<p>RESEARCH consistently shows that adults with learning disabilities can often suffer from isolation, a lack of confidence and subsequently ill health and unemployment.</p>
<p>Choice Support trains support workers, like me, provide support to Service Users wherever and whenever they need it. This helps to ensure they enjoy an active role in society and lead safe and positive lives. </p>
<p>ALL of the money I raise from this run will go DIRECTLY to the annual 'Big Meet' Conference for 2012. This conference gives the Service Users at Choice the chance to voice THEIR opinions about the quality of the service THEY are provided with. </p>
<p>It means that the people who use the charity themselves decide where their money goes - not the mangers, not the financiers or the staff. This is something which I think is brilliant - and one of the many reasons I have continued to work with the charity for so long. </p>

<p>I would really appreciate anything at all that you can give. I've also managed to bust up my ankle whilst training for this run, so will no doubt be staggering/limping rather than running by the end of it, but I can give you my word that I WILL FINISH!!!! Mwah ha HAAAA!!</p>
