Hello, My name is Amelia. I was hit by a car and since then have had muscle problems which may or may not be related to that. (I have seen a number of specialist doctors regarding this and the continued problems I face and been told I am affected by problems probably affected by spine or brain, unknown.)

In the years since I was hit by a car I have grown my hair with hope to cut it short in order to raise money to help others with muscle problems as I know how hard it is to get by with muscle problems.

MS affects the nerves and muscle control.

Although I do not have MS myself (as far as I am aware as yet) I understand how it can be difficult having muscle problems.

I have also seen tv shows regarding MS, for example the programme which showed the affects on the artist Johnny Hicklenton. (I am am art student so can imagine how frustrating it must have been for Johnny, johnnys website - http://www.heresjohnnyfilm.com/)
