Our family is taking part in this event in memory of our beloved mother Nahid Taghvai who lost her battle to cancer after 10 years and left us in deep sorrow and sadness. 

Mum was under the care of Merie Curie Hospice during her illness and she finally was admitted to this hospice where she spent the last month of her life last October. 

Doctors, nurses, carers, volunteers, - everyone really - in this hopsice is an angel. Mum was treated with an absolute honour and dignity, which any one could hope for.  

Getting cancer in this day and age seems to be very common but being treated in such a way by the staff at Merie Curie is a speical gift and we will always remember the kindness and care they provided to mum and all our family. 

We're going to participate in a 6 miles walk on Sunday 23rd of June and we would like to ask for your generous donation for this good cause, hoping more and more people will be able to be treated with high quality care, kindness and dignity which they deserve.
