The Everest Challenge · 26 June 2015
Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.
We've joined together to mountain bike the full height of Everest (8,848m!) over 4 days on off road mountain bike tracks in South Wales. That's 8x the height of the shard a day for four days straight!
The team is formed of members of Alec French Architects and a few of our friends.
We are raising money for Care International following the earthquake in Nepal. One of our colleagues was traveling in Nepal just before the earthquakes hit and visited some of the very villages that were destroyed by the disaster. We want to do all we can to help and your donation can really help us smash our target
As well as doing the challenge we are doing a number of fundraising events in Bristol. Please help us meet our goal and join us in supporting this cause.
We are holding a charity fundraising night at Roll for the Soul on Quay Street in Bristol on the 18th June, 6.30-11pm. Entry will buy you a ticket for a fun 'themed' quiz that is sure to test your creative skills as well as intellect! The quiz will be followed by live music and special guest DJ to keep the vibe going into the late evening. We have access to the food and drinks at the bar (not included in ticket)
Please note we have limited capactity at the event and entry will be via guestlist only. To reserve your ticket, please make a £5 donation to the cause stating 'guestlist me' so we can make sure you are on the guestlist. If you want to reserve more than one ticket, please adjust donation accordingly. THANKS!
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
