Palace to Palace 2017 · 1 October 2017 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

On Sunday 1st October I'll be cycling 45 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle with a team of my Accenture colleagues, to raise funds for and awareness of the Prince's Trust's amazing work with young people!

The trust have run the Palace to Palace fundraiser race for the last few years so that they are able to provide their life-changing schemes and programmes for young people looking to get into work and set up businesses.

I'd like to support this work, by hopping on a bike, attempting the Palace to Palace race, having not been on any bike other than the occasional Boris Bike in over 5 years, with no training - and raising my target of £300. All possible with a little help from my friends....

If the thought of my suffering isn't an incentive enough to donate, check out some of the amazing work that your money will go towards on their website: www.princes-trust.org.uk

Love,

Amie
