Barclays Wheels for Change 2016 · 9 September 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

I will be taking part in a 100km cycling challenge for charity on Friday 9 September, starting and finishing at the London Olympic Velodrome (via Essex). As many of you know I am a novice at cycling compared to my mum so this will be a real test of my ability and endurance!

I will be cycling in memory of my dad, who sadly passed away very suddenly on 11th May this year after a short battle with Cancer. He loved cycling himself, and always encouraged all of our family in this sport.

The challenge is for 'Wheels for Change', an annual cycling challenge led by Barclays to raise money for The Prince's Trust. Please help sponsor me to raise money for this terrific cause which helps young people develop key skills, confidence and motivation to move into employment, education or training.

Any donations will be matched by Barclays so please donate whatever you can!
