A few friends and I thought it would be a really good idea to run in an event called The Wolf Run, a 10k run through the Warwickshire countryside, which in itself sounds like an ordeal to me, but this run also has the odd obstacle to overcome for good measure.  For more info please visit the web site, here and to watch a short video of what goes on please visit here

Besides the sense of self achievement of when I finally cross the line (in one piece, I hope) I thought it would be a good idea to try and raise some money for a very worthy cause.  For an idea of the work Target Ovarian Cancer do please see here

The reason I decided to run to raise money for Target was sadly losing my Aunt to the devastating disease last summer and raise any awareness I possibly could.  Ovarian cancer's symptons are frequently very subtle early on and are easily confused with other illnesses.
