Climbing Mt Snowdon for Gaza · 25 October 2014

Human Appeal provides relief to victims of natural disasters, wars and social hardship. It improves the quality of life of underprivileged communities through our projects that aim to provide education, health and social development. It looks after the wellbeing of orphans.

Story

Over a period of just over 6 weeks, over 1,200 Palestinians, including children, were killed along the Gaza Strip in what was the worst outbreak of violence in the region since 2012.

SInce the 8th July thousands of people were seriously injured and many had to flee their homes with no access to food, water, medicine or hygiene facilities.

Schools, refugee camps and hospitals were bombed. Recently, a news agency reported that a hospital is about to shut down due to lack of electricity. The area is under siege, and any form of transport is extremely restricted.

We have therefore chosen to raise money for Gaza with Human Appeal. An organisation that has worked in Gaza for over 10 years and that has been able to provide emergency-relief, where others have failed.

£20, 000 will be enough to build 5 units of an intensive care unit,  every £1000 after will build a hospital bed. Last year livISOC raised almost £27,000 msA so hopefully we donate as much or more!

Saturday the 25th October 2014 will be my first time climbing Mt Snowdon for charity! Help support those injured and in need in Gaza by sponsoring me!

Please donate generously, anything you give will help isA :)
