So here I am, engaged in a battle of wills with my body, to make it morph from something that used to get puffed walking up a few flights of stairs, to something that can run, and run, and run...

What better incentive than to raise money for worthy causes along the way?

This month I'm participating in my first ever "fun run", the Trees for Cities Tree-athlon. It's a 5km run raising funds that are put to use planting greenery in highly urbanised areas.

My target is small, as I hope to make fund-raising runs a regular event and don't want to drain everyone's bank accounts along the way ;)

Please inspire me to complete my run successfully and help out Trees for Cities!
