Rotary started to immunise the world's children in 1985 . At the start there were 387,000 cases a year in 126 countries. Now there are only 2 countries - with only 22 cases last year. The final stretch is the hardest as we have to reach the toughest parts of the world. If we stop now it will all come back in months.
