Update 14/08/2011
I just wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who sponsored me and say that all of you have helped me make one disabled child happy, by giving them the money to go on a holiday. The bike ride was quite hard, but I still did it(in 6 hours 20 mins with two breaks). For the last five miles I felt like a car on empty fuel, but the thing that kept me going was when I remembered all your comments and the child that I was going to make happy.
I would also like to thank you for making this possible because without your help I wouldn’t have made a thousand pounds and more.
I would also like to thank my Dad who sent emails to all of you for the contributions. The second person who I would like to thank is my mum for getting all the things I needed for the bike ride.
My Dad and Mum managed to complete the 40 mile bike ride but they took an hour more than me :-)

I am doing a 40 mile bike ride in Birmingham on the 13th of August 2011 to support young people, who are seriously ill to provide life changing experience through 'Over The Wall' charity intiative.(changed the date from 9th of August to 13th of August due to extended practice that is required to complete 40 miles)
I will post my photographs and experiences during and after the event. It may be a difficult race for my age (of 11) but I am confident that I can do it. I am also making my Dad and Mum to participate but I doubt whether they will be able to do 40 mile ride :-)

Over The Wall is a national children’s charity. Our purpose is to provide life-changing experiences to children and young people aged 8-17 who are affected by serious and life limiting illnesses. We do this by offering free activity camps specifically developed to foster coping, resilience, self-esteem and confidence.
