On Sunday 12th September I'm taking part in the Ladies Driving Challenge at Newark Showground, the challenge being the vehicles. Hopefully I will learn how to control some of Britain's biggest machines. These include fire engines, combine harvesters, HGV's and excavators!

This is all in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity who protect our fire fighting heroes as they go about their duty protecting us. The charity offers support, therapy and recuperation to the fire fighters who get injured whilst saving our lives.

So far the charity has helped thousands of fire fighters and their families but hopefully with our help they can reach even more.
