IRLA are celebrating their 20-year anniversary by supporting MIND.
MIND provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem and campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
This is an incredibly worthwhile charity to donate to when in reality, support for mental health issues is terribly underfunded when there are so many affected and in need of help.
£6,781 has been raised of our £10,000 target to date through the generosity of IRLA members and initiatives carried out by IRLA Secretariat.
The final fundraising event will take place in June 2019 when 20 of our members (including myself) will have the opportunity to step out from the British Airways i360 pod , 450ft above Brighton beach to do the idrop abseil during IRLA Congress 2019. We hope to raise a further £4,000 for the charity through this event.
