Story

So thTwo years ago one of my best friends mum, Lynn Bates, needed walton who supported her and the family in every which way possible...Lynn unfortunately did not make it and it was a shock to us all but they did absolutely everything they could for her and more.
A year ago one of our good friends, Val, had a severe serious of strokes and again had to go to walton. Val isnt 100% better and never will be but she is still here all down to them. She is in a care home now.
And then we turn to the beginning of this year. John was in Walton for approximately 2 weeks where the doctors and nurses worked their socks off to save him. Jo and her family were there at that hospital religiously every day. There was nowhere for them to stay so had to travel back and to everyday, no massive biggy really as its just what you do. But is their an option???
John sadly passed away on the 5th January.

So overnight stay is an issue as there is no where for anybody to stay when their loved one is critical. Jo told me a few stories about how one man was sleeping in a camper van on the car park and how one girl had to travel two hours and take two different buses to get to see her partner every day.

So we are trying to raise money to go towards the new unit to be built at the site so that families can sleep over to be close to their loved ones.

So please sponsor me to climb snowdonia. Every little helps....even just £1 I would be grateful for.

Thank you for reading my essay ha ha and happy donating  x x x
