Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 feet - the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in my ears with only the outline of distant fields below. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go - falling forward into the clouds, skydiving down through the air as I start freefalling at over 120mph!
Well that's what I am going to do ...... and I am absolutely crapping myself. But it's all in aid of a great cause, which is the Help for Heroes Charity, a charity that all the Sun Page 3 girls and myself are so proud to support.
I'm doing the skydive on the morning of 1st June 2010 (weather permitting) with Target Skysports at Hibaldstow Airfield near Brigg in North Lincolnshire. I have no idea of how to skydive but I'm sure the guys at Target Skysports are going to really look after me. And I'll be strapped ... very tightly I hope .... to one of their team for my jump.
I'm so excited and I really want you to help me raise loads of money and TOTALLY SMASH my initial target of £1000. It's easy to donate and all the money you donate goes to Help for Heroes. Also make sure you claim for the Gift Aid option too, that increases your donation by almost 25% and the Government will pay that.
