well I'm so proud to say we made it! myself and Laura completed all 13.1 miles running all the way in 2 hours and 33 minutes (even with a broken knee)!! just to let you all know there is still time to donate to a great cause!! thank you to all those who have already donated - you and the dogs kept us going all the way!!x

Laura and myself are running the Mablethorpe half marathon this October for Jerry Green dog rescue and rehoming. If you know me and Laura you know this will be a massive challenge for us as we are definatley not runners!! We are currently training very hard and are confident that we will achieve our goal!! Myself and Laura are both dog owners and love dogs in general and Jerry Green do great work around the Lincolnshire and surrounding areas rescuing and rehoming dogs. Heres a statement from there website :-
At Jerry Green Dog Rescue we believe there's a caring home for every dog.
We rescue, care for and rehome abandoned and unwanted dogs, and will never put a dog to sleep unless its health or temperament make this the kindest option. Please help us to look after the dogs in our care while we seek to find them the right permanent home.

Jerry Green Dog Rescue operate 5 centres across 3 counties. Our centres in Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire work hard to rescue, care for and rehome stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs, and help them find their forever homes.
