National Three Peaks 24 Hour Challenge · 6 June 2014

Leeds Cancer Centre, part of the Leeds Cares family, diagnoses and treats cancer for the people of Leeds and the Yorkshire region. It is one of the largest cancer centres in the UK and provide some of the most up-to-date treatment, care and support for people with cancer.

Story

Along with a RAG group from Leeds Uni I'll be hiking up the three tallest peaks in Britain at the start of June - trying to conquer Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike in 24 hours!  That's an ascent of about 11,000 feet in total.

This challenge will raise money for the Yorkshire Cancer Centre, which is the fundraising arm of St James’s Institute of Oncology and provides specialist medical equipment, research and development and patient ‘home comforts’ to 1,500 patients each day. You can visit their website directly here: http://www.yorkshirecancercentre.org.uk/

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I really appreciate any donation, no matter how small.  100% of all funds raised will go directly to the charity.
