On 01 October this year, 6 members of the RCP Meetings andEvents Team, aka “The Half Dirty Dozen”, will be getting down and dirty in the‘Pretty Muddy Race for Life’.

None of us are in a great state, so we will be training hardleading up to this event and arehoping to raise as much money along the way for Cancer Research UK.

It seems that everyoneknows someone who has been affected by cancer, maybe a family member, friend orpossibly even you. If there is anything we can do to try and come up with acure for this disease, then we think that we should.

As you may already know, we are a ‘prudish’ bunch ;-P so notonly are we going through the horror of being covered in mud, we are alsohaving to get ourselves into shape to tackle the 5K obstacle course. We are literally putting our bodies on theline, pushing them to a point that we have never crossed before … all for thisamazing cause. We hope that you can give a little bit in return.
