Torture is something which, thank goodness, most of us have never had the horror of living through.  Many of those who are subjected to torture do not live through it.  For those who do survive torture, the harrowing memories and after-effects mean that 'normality' is no longer.  They have to learn to live again.  The Freedom from Torture West Midlands Centre plays a vital role in the recovery and rehabilitation of torture survivors. 

I would love it if I could hit the £250 that they have asked me to try and raise for them, so that they can go on to assist more brave survivors of torture and their families.  But however close I can get will help.  Whatever you can afford, a little or a large amount, there will be some individuals and families out there whom we will never meet, but they will be sincerely grateful.  If you donate on my page then you are literally a lifesaver!
