For those of you who don’t know yet I’m mad enough to think that running the London marathon is a good ambition to have and even crazier to think that running it this year would be a good idea!!!

Anyway it boils down to the fact that on Sunday 25 April 2010 I will be attempting to run 26.2 miles and to make the pain worthwhile please, please, please sponsor me!!!

I’m running on behalf of Rhys Daniels Trust who are a local charity to my home town. The money I raise will help the charity continue to provide the desperately needed “Home from Home” care at specialists children’s hospitals in the UK.

The trauma of having a child diagnosed with a life threatening illness is shattering. Imagine then for one moment the added stress that these families face because their child has to be treated many miles from home. It could happen to anyone, and it is happening all the time to families in this country. The aim of the Rhys Daniels Trust is to provide “Home from Home” care in support of major hospitals across the UK as a perfect environment for children and their families at such a stressful time.
