I am joining a team of colleagues at HSBC to partake in the National Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest three peaks in England, Scotland and Wales within 24 hours. We’ll start at Ben Nevis in Scotland , then across the country to Scafell Pike in the Lake District and finally, completing the challenge climbing Snowdon in the early hours of June 17

Most importantly, I’m doing this challenge to support the fantastic work carried out by Marie Curie Cancer Care. Every £20 raised provides 1 hour of nursing care which supports individuals and their families at a very difficult time in their lives. Many of us have all been affected by cancer at some point in our lives - whether it be a loved one, friend, colleague or family member and we all know how tough it can be. Marie Curie works to make it not so tough. Their Nurses provide care to terminally ill patients in their own homes or in hospices, while offering support to their families and is committed to carrying out the research and innovation necessary to find out what the best possible care is and how best to provide it.

Every penny we raise for Marie Curie will enable them to carry on with the amazing work they do in ensuring that terminally ill people, wherever they may be in the UK, will have access to remarkable care.
