Story

Given my dreadful sense of direction, terrible time-keeping and general distaste of any sporting activity that doesn't involve a stick and ball, some of you may be very surprised that I've agreed to walk the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales. But, as those who know me best will appreciate, as soon as I heard it was a competition, my eyes lit up and the adrenaline took over.

So, on Wednesday 19th September, I'll set out to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon all in one day. No sleep, no food and no alcohol makes one very grumpy Tippen...which will make the challenge all the more exciting.

It's all in the name of Crisis, a charity which helps to get the homeless back on their feet, in work, education and with a roof over their heads; things which most of us can't help but take for granted.

If only to see some less than flattering photos of me in my mountain attire, I would hugely appreciate it if you could spare a little bit of cash to help me climb that mountain through the wind, rain and fog.

Thanks,

Tippen x
