UPDATE:

Wohoo I completed the half marathon! My time was 2 hours 9 mins. Thank you so much to each and every one of you who donated as knowing I was raising money for such a great charity helped me through the tougher times of the run. I'm still hoping to reach my £500 traget, so if you haven't already please donate!!!!!!

Please make a donation to Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland in aid of me running the 'Run to the Beat' half marathon on 26th September 2010.

This is a charity that is very dear to my heart as they helped both my Grandparents when my Granda was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in 2001. Because of their service my Granda was able to be cared for at home, so that his final moments were peaceful and with his family. They also helped my Grandma with a lot of emotional support at this difficult time.

Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland need to raise £490,000 a year to keep their service running so please dig deep and donate! To see more about the work they do their website is www.hospiceathome.co.uk.

Don't forget to gift aid it, as they get a further 28% on your donation.

Thank you very much!

Amy
