After watching the london marathon, we decided to do the next good thing: the london duathlon.

The event requires us to run for 10k, cycle for 20k and then run for 5k ... try running after having been cycling for as fast as you can for 20k!! I can assure you it is a killer!!

The good news is that we are doing this to raise money for charity. I am sure many of you have heard me talk about the Baytree Centre in Brixton. The aim of the centre is to help raise aspirations, enabling all beneficiaries achieve their personal, professional and educational potential. It achieves this by providing training and mentoring in a positive, encouraging environment, offering practical routes into social inclusion and better opportunities.
