You will be pleased to know I completed the single day Challenge Trek - exploring the hidden and less visited Western flanks of Snowdon - climbing up the 'Ranger' path to the top of Snowdon and then up the towering Lliwedd. We descended via the 'Rhyd Ddu' path.. Back to the tiny village of Rhyd Ddu. Explore the amazing Volcanic and Glacial Landscape - it was hot and hard work but well worth it!

We started low down in the Nant Y Betws Valley - we then climbed up the flanks of Yr Wyddfa (Welsh name for Snowdon) over the top of Clogwyn D'Arrdu to the summit ridge.   We  treked on to Y Lliwedd, a stunning outrigger of the Horseshoe - and a beautiful peak in its own right. Finally we  returned back down via the Llechog butress and the Rhd Ddu path, back to a well earned refreshment stop back in the valley!
