<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>MACHU PICCHU PERU TREK APRIL 12 - 21 2012!!!</p> <p>So most of you know I hate bugs, I hardly walk anywhere, if my car is poorly I dont know what to do and it makes me cry yet I am taking on a challenge of treking through the peru mountains and forests and jungle, I must be mad I hear you say... No I just have a heart and felt the need to help the disabled children of the UK in some small way.</p> <p>As many of you will know I am really taking myself out of my comfort zone here because as a mother of 3 healthy boys I realise just how lucky I am that they was born healthy and able bodied.&nbsp;</p> <p>Children Today Charitable Trust was founded in 1994 there aim is to raise funds to provide grants to purchase specialised equipment for disable children and young people living in the United Kingdom.</p> <p>The majority of the equipment they provide IS NOT available through the NHS or social services so would have to be funded by the family, and how many families can just afford to buy specialised equipment running into thousands of pounds!</p> <p>After watching a video presentation of children that were not so lucky as mine, from Children Today were these children had disabilities ranging from small to vast, it brings tears to my eyes just thinking how I would have coped if that was one of my children, like those parents I would have relied upon a charity like Children today to provide essential LIFE CHANGING equipment so these children can have a desent quality of life, you can find out more from&nbsp;<a href="http://www.childrentoday.org.uk/">http://www.childrentoday.org.uk/</a></p> <p>But how do Children today get the money to help these children, they rely on donations from people like us so they can carry on there good work in helping to get walking frames trikes and wheelchairs to mention a few of the items that are specially adapted so these kids can just get thru the front door.</p> <p>HOW WOULD YOU COPE, HOW WOULD YOU FEEL, MORE TO THE POINT HOW LUCKY ARE YOU NOW WITH YOUR HEALTHY CHILDREN, WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOUR CHILD COULD NOT WALK, RUN, DANCE, YOU WOULD NEED HELP, SO I AM PERSONALLY ASKING YOU TO SPONSOR ME TO HELP CHILDREN LESS FORTUNATE THAN YOURS!!!</p> <p>Thankyou Andrea xxxxxx</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
