Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have taken on the ultimate challenge – to run the London Marathon in 2013 raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support! 

Having a personal connection with Macmillan and seen the fantastic work they do, I have secured a Golden Bond place, and have committed to raising a minimum of £2000. 

Macmillan Cancer Support do fabulous work in supporting people living with cancer. I would be eternally grateful if you could dig deep and donate to this fantastic cause – it will make all the early-morning runs worthwhile, especially as it’s absolutely freezing at the moment – and believe me, it’s not much fun! 

Mind you, being so cold, people think my eyes are watering – when it’s really tears after 10 miles!

I ran Greenwich's Run to the Beat half marathon on 28th October as a warm-up event  – I finished in 2 hours and 28 minutes, which I was pretty happy with!  Still managed to cry on the route when I saw my family and friends – see the awful photo on my page!

Now I have until April to work hard, pounding the pavements to double my distance...... and the thought of running 26 miles currently terrifies me!
