We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I had the 'MNDA' logo shaved into the side of my hair at Rockstar Tattoo in Bury on 16th June and decided I do not want to stop there, I want to make my dad so proud of me so if I reach my NEW target of £450 I will get 'Make Every Day Count' tattooed on me (either my lower arm or on my neck so it is visible at all times!)

Why I am doing this, my inspiration:

It has been 5 years on the 25 March that my dad passed away after a 4 year battle with Motor Neurone Disease and I want to try to raise some money in his memory to help other people who are living with this horrible disease.

As it stands, there is no cure but the Motor Neurone Disease Association’s mission is to fund and promote research to help find a cure. Until then they help people with MND to have a more comfortable life and to die with dignity. They also do what they can to help support the families and carer’s of people living with MND.

Every donation makes a difference, for example:

£10 could provide an information pack for a person newly diagnosed with MND

£25 could run the MND connect support and information line for an hour

£50 could pay for laboratory equipment for a day’s research

£150 could fund an expert researcher for a day

£300 could fund a respite care for a person with MND.

So please dig deep and donate, every little counts.

Thank you so much for supporting me and the Motor Neurone Disease Association

 - Andrea xx
