As some of you may know, I enjoy running. The London Marathon has been on my 'bucket list' for seven years. I was thrilled when I found out that I had a place for this year - but now reality has hit and I am having to do all the training - in the wind and the rain and the dark nights!!
Its a lot of effort from me but show me that all my effort is worth it by making a donation and support a charity that I feel is worth running for.

Yeovil Freewheelers is a voluntary group providing emergency and routine response for transporting urgently needed blood samples, blood, biopsies, Patients notes, MRI scans, prescription drugs, a variety of medical equipment for intensive care units, hospitals, residential homes and nursing homes anywhere in the country.
This is a unique free service helping both hospitals and patients. We operate an "out of hours" service during the week, weekends and bank holidays to provide fast,safe and efficient transport of urgent medical items between hospitals throughout the country.
We save Yeovil Hospital in the region of £70,000 per year in transport costs. We provide 3 categories of callout. Cat 1 - Very urgent, possibly life saving, requiring an emergency response. With Blue Lights and Sirens. Cat 2 - Urgent requiring immediate action, but not life saving. Cat 3 - ASAP, not urgent, but requiring action in the next few hours.
