My eldest son and I are riding from John O'Groats to Lands End in order to raise funds for Grove House Hospice. We are riding in a team of 5 and plan on completing the ride in 12 days averaging 80 miles/day.

I have been planning and practising to take part in this ride for about 7 months and we wanted to raise money in memory of my Dad who died of cancer in 2001. I had always planned on doing a challenging activity to raise funds for Grove House Hospice but this has now taken on a new dimension as we have just found out that my Mum has been diagnosed with cancer.

If your family has been touched by cancer you will appreciate the support that charities such as Grove House provide and they really do need money to help them continue to offer their services.
