<p>A group of 12 of us from QinetiQ in Malvern are cycling ~150 miles from Worth Matravers in Dorset to Malvern to raise money for Help for Heroes. We're doing this on 23rd and 24th May 2012 to mark the 70th anniversary of radar research site moving from Worth Matravers to Malvern.</p>
<p>The development of radar was one of the most significant technological developments during World War II. The work of a small number of brilliant scientists and engineers played a pivotal role in equipping our Armed Forces with vital new equipment.</p>
<p>The ride marks the 70th anniversary of Malvern's association with defence research & technology.</p>
