Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·

We’re the 10 million people living with arthritis in the UK. The carers, researchers and healthcare professionals. The family, friends and fundraisers. United by a clear vision: a future free from arthritis. One in which no one is limited by the pain, fatigue and isolation that arthritis can cause.

Story

A big thank you to all who made donations towards my challenge.

I have been raising money for Arthritis Research UK by running the London Marathon in April 2011 and the Edinburgh Marathon in May 2011.

Part 1 of the challenge is complete, and I finished the London Marathon in 4 hrs 43 m. I am now back in training for the part 2 of the challenge.

Part 2 of the challenge is now complete, and I finished the Edinburgh marathon in a time of 4hr 35m. The weather was fine for the first 6 miles, and then the heavens opened and it rained heavily for the next 8 miles, but then out came the sun at the 20 mile stage.

Arthritis Research UK is the charity leading the fight against arthritis. They are working to take the pain away for sufferers of all forms of arthritis and helping people to remain active. They do this by funding high class research, providing information and campaigning.

You can continue to make donations via this page or you by going to my Endinburgh marathon page at http:\\www.justgiving.com\andrew-bidder-EDG.

Thank You

Andy.
