Story

Back in 2002 my life was rocked by the news that my Dad had been diagnosed with a Brain Tumour. Two years later he lost his brave struggle, but seeing the effects of such a traumatic illness first hand has changed my life forever. His illness, which he fought with strength and dignity, turned my Father from a strong, resilient man to shadow of his former self and ultimately denied my kids the opportunity to have a wonderful Grandfather.

I'm taking part in this challenge to help Brain Tumour UK as they are the leading, caring charity committed to fighting brain tumours. Their scientific research improves the quality of life for brain tumour patients and identifies better treatments. They raise awareness to change things for the better, for everyone affected by a brain tumour. It's a great charity and one day you may need their help.
