I am running the Robin Hood half marathon to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. As some of you may or may not know I have suffered with a heart condition all my life (leaking valve and hole in the heart) last year I was training fir this same event and in March I found out I had to have surgery to correct this issue which meant I had to drop out. In May 2017 I underwent open heart surgery to have my pulmonary valve replaced and an ASD repair carried the support of the Heart Foundation nurse was invaluable to me and my family so I wan to run this to give something back. If people have questions about what I went through feel free to ask I am more than happy to talk about it.
