<p>Hello everyone,<br><br>I will be participating in the <a href="http://www.heroesrun.org.uk/content/runbrighton">10km Heroes Run along Brighton seafront on 20th May 2012</a> and have chosen to pass my sponsorhips onto <a href="http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/">Cancer Research UK</a>.<br><br>There are more than 200 different types of cancer, each with different causes and symptoms, requiring different treatments. There are 300,000 newly diagnosed cases of cancer in the UK each year, and 155,000 deaths attributed to cancer each year. <strong>More than 1 in 3 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime.</strong><br><br>Cancer Research UK is the largest single funder of cancer research in the UK and the world's largest charity dedicated to cancer research.
