Well the team was short by one person and they turned to me to help out. I said yes before I knew what was involved.  HOWEVER IT IS FOR A VERY GOOD CAUSE. 

MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY 

The challenge involves 3 disciplines (Bike, Canoe and Hiking) over 4 legs.  Carried out as a team event.  Team members are Jim, Andy N, Geoff and Andy B.  Our team name is JAGABOMBERS237. Event to take place on Saturday July 8th 2017.

Leg 1: Pedal for 15 miles from Penrith to Glenridding along the shores of Ulswater.  Thank god things have evolved from the Sturmey Archer 3 gears.

Leg 2: Paddle - Canoe for 2 miles on Ulswater.  If anyone sees me near a boat you have my permission to shoot me.  Mind you many just fancy shooting me for no reason.

Leg 3: Peak - Hike up and down Helveyn - England's 3rd largest mountain up and down the difficult bit known as striding edge.  Sends fears into many walkers.

Leg 4: Pedal back to Penrith for another 15 miles. - What time is the last bus?

The next challenge is to raise £2000 all for a worthy cause in Muscular Dystrophy and this is where you can help me and the charity along the way.
