Thank you for all of your support which helped me to complete the Berlin Marathon in a personal best time of 2 hours 54 minutes 41 seconds and placed me 691st out of over 34,000 finishers.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page in memory of David Bamber and Peter Bulkley, two young men whose lives were stolen by pancreatic cancer; two husbands; two fathers.

·       40 years ago very few children survived childhood leukaemia – today the survival rates are now 80%; 

·       40 years ago only 46% of women diagnosed with breast cancer survived 5 years or more – today the rate is 80%.

·       40 years ago, 3% of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer survived 5 years or more – today the rate is 3% !

Please help me to help this last statistic improve dramatically. I will run what will probably be my last marathon, and the last of the 5 majors  (London, New York, Chicago, Boston, Berlin) in Germany on September 26^th in aid of the UK charity Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.
