This year National Grid has chosen to support the Alzheimer’s Society as its chosen charity

It is trying to raise money to provide 12,500 hours of support through Dementia Support Workers. I can relate to this having seen my Nan slowly deteriorate to this sad disease.

One of the events National Grid is planning is a sponsored bike ride from St Fergus in Scotland to the Isle of Grain. I am planning on joining at Staythorpe and riding to the Isle of Grain.
