It wasn't pretty, sickness and knees buckling...but I did it! At the risk of sounding like Gwyneth Paltrow, thank you for all of your help and encouragement.

Brilliant guys thank you!!! So you know that runs first step for 2 days, about 90 children and their families. I (and they) can't thank you all enough.

£11.60 short, who is going to be the one to make sure I've got no excuse?

Just finished my long run...22 miles run, walked and hobbled! Tail off now and 3 weeks to go! Thanks to all those who have supported me and helped First Step in the process. Come on the rest of you, make someone else's life a bit easier, and mine harder for a few more weeks.

Hey guys, a month to go. Still a daunting task ahead, miles to do. If you can support in anyway, you'll be helping a great and most deserving cause. Thanks

Hey guys, I'm not sure if these have been going out or not so I make no apologies for this! I completed the Silverstone Half Marathon on Sunday as part of my prep for London on 22 Apr. I now understand the magnitude of this undertaking and am in awe of my friends wacking in sub 2 hr times for 13.1! I however realise survival and finishing is a more realistic goal! If you can spare a few sheckles, a couple of quid or even forgo a cup of coffee you'll be helping a feat cause and ensuring I drag this sorry excuse around the course. Thanks all, Andy

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for First Step, an awesome charity based out of the old site of RAF Hornchurch. The people, cause and results speak for themselves. My mother and father have done an amazing amount of work and fund raising for First Step, coupled with my mid life crisis it was an obvious choice to raise money for this fantastic cause. I have already organised a Charity Dinner at the RAF Club and have managed to raise a good sum of money, however I would like to raise a little more. If you feel you could support me on 22 Apr, when I drag myself around the London Marathon, I would be forever grateful. If you need any encuragement, please take a look at First Step's website. That will be enough to motivate anyone...thank you all, Andrew.
