Story

Hi everyone,

Thanks for coming here of your own accord...or allowing me to guilt you in to clicking the link.

On April 13th 2014 I will be undertaking my greatest challenge yet by running the London Marathon; 26.2 miles of pain. Having just run my first 5k after Christmas, I can honestly say this will not be an easy road. But money to this charity is a great motivator. After becoming an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust Iv seen with my own eyes and meet some of the young people that have turned there life around and gone on to do great things from the help of the princes trust with the money that is donated.

So please, dig deep and donate.

The Prince’s Trust helps disadvantaged young people to get their lives on track. It supports 13 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed and those struggling at school and at risk of exclusion. Many of the young people helped by The Trust are in or leaving care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or they have been in trouble with the law.

The Trust’s programmes give vulnerable young people the practical and financial support needed to stabilize their lives, helping develop self-esteem and skills for work.

Three in four young people supported by The Prince’s Trust move into work, education or training. The Prince of Wales’s charity has helped 750,000 young people since 1976 and supports over 100 more each day.
