Hi there,

Thank You for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for my forthcoming run in the Istanbul Marathon on Sunday 18th October.

I know the race is not far away and therefore, this is a last minue request to help raise a few pounds for the Ocean Ward & Atkinson Morley Wing of St Georges Hospital in London.

Many of you will be aware that my youngest daughter, Scarlett was diagnosed with a tumour in her spine over the summer. An incredible shock and thankfully, everything was removed and Scarlett has made an amazing recovery.

I cannot thank the hospital enough and in particular, the amazing team of surgeons and nurses who gave Scarlett world-class care and treatment.........and made her better ! 

These events in life just make you want to give something back and hence, my run and hopefully some pennies for the hospital. I would love to be able to get them a well needed new wheelchair or 'sleepover' beds for parents.

I have started the ball rolling that I will double if I can push the pain barrier and get under the magic 4hrs...........Please give whatever you can - any amount will be hugely welcome !
