Hi everyone,

as many of you know I had a very near miss after coming off my motorbike in Argentina earlier this year I have been recovering well and have given myself the London Marathon 2010 as a target to work towards, an important aid both mentally and physically in my recovery.

I have decided to run for the charity Bertie which is an education programme giving people with insulin dependant diabetes the tools and training to cope better with their condition. It is a practical course that gives specific goals and updates knowledge of how to manage diabetes, giving greater confidence to individuals to keep the condition in control and make everyday activities that much better.
