Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

You may or may not know that Andrew my son, although a very active boy, suffers from Type1 Diabetes and has to inject Insulin four times a day to live a normal life.

Andrew has always been a keen swimmer and is a member of Lanark Swimming Club, he also loves his bike and the combination of both has seen Andrew taking up Triathlon as a sport with Lanark Triathlon Club.

When Pedal for Scotland 2013 was advertised, Andrew wanted to take part and wanted to raise funds for JDRF in the process, JDRF stands for The Junior Diabetic Research Foundation and their goal is to one day find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.

Andrew and I are both taking part and would like to raise £470.00, thats £10 per mile of the Pedal for Scotland route from Glasgow Green to Murryfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Please, Please, Please, help us to help JDRF to find a cure for this disease.
