Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page; as some of you will know this is the 8th Mentzendorff Charity Cycle Ride to raise funds for The Benevolent - The Drinks Industry Charity.

On Monday 9th June I will again be joined by a group of cycling friends in Rioja, N.Spain near the source of the R.Duero and we will depart from Bodegas Roda, Haro to ride firstly to Ribera del Duero and then westward, following the mighty river as it crosses into Portugal, becoming the Douro, and entering the Port wine region. We will reach Taylor's iconic estate Qunta de Vargellas on Thurs 13th before completing the journey of 600km on Friday 14th by riding through the Port region towards Porto, where the Douro meets the Atlantic.
