John O'groats to Lands End · 30 July 2015
Simon and I are spending two weeks of our summer cycling from John O'Groats (the most Northern part of the UK) to Land's End (the farthest South point of the UK) and camping along the way. We should average about 85 miles a day over 2 weeks.
I would love you to support the charity Prison Fellowship not because of the cycle as anyone who knows me knows I do this sort of thing for fun! But more importantly because of the work the charity does through restorative justice programmes in 45 prisons in the UK and letter writing programmes (basically pen pals with offenders).
I am involved in both programmes and the importance of listening to these men is vital to firstly raise their awareness of the impacts of their actions and secondly and consequently to reduce reoffending rates.
If you can't give financially please spend a minute looking at their website to find out more about their work:

... and as it turns out cycling is pretty cheap I will double all fundraising efforts (go on make me regret it).
I will keep you updated on my progress!
Many thanks for your support.
