Hi Folks, Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Most of us are parents and dread the thought of our children suffering from serious illness or injury. If. god-forbid, this was to occur, how great would it be to be able to stay in the hospital with our child for as long as is required and to have as much support as possible. This is often possible but only thanks to the ARCHIE Foundation ( http://www.archiefoundation.org.uk/ ), the official charity of The Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital and Community Based Child Health throughout Grampian and the Northern Isles.
In order to earn your sponsorship for this much needed charity, I intend to climb (or crawl if required) to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in February 2010. The mountain summit has an elevation of 19,330 ft (5,891.8 metres) with a prominance of 19,298 ft (5,882 m) and is ranked the 4th most prominant mountain in the world.
Although you may not live in the Grampian and Northern Isles area, I would consider your donation to be your personal show of support. Please be assured that 100% of your donation will go towards the Archie Foundation and not one penny will go towards the cost of the trip.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe and they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
