Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
2015 is the 10th year since my cancer diagnosis and subsequent Kidney removal (2005) and importantly the all clear.
I have set myself a series of challenges
'5ALIVE'
This is running alongside Steven Hardisty who is doing his series of challenges 'BIG10'
My challenges so far are:
MAGIC WEEKEND GIANT RIDE - (John Smith Stadium to St James park 120 miles)
MANCHESTER BIG RIDE - (52miles)
LEEDS Asda 10k
GREAT NORTH RUN - ( half marathon)
Still one to announce ????
My Chosen charity will be
Forget Me Not Children's Hospice
It is 5 years since the Liverpool Leeds walk where we raised £5,000 for male related cancers, It would be great to get near to that figure again.
All our events are self funded by the participants and the time and commitment involved to training is massive (and painful).
I don't frequently ask for much, but we will be giving young Children a lot in return.
All the work Forget me not undertake is to give less fortunate parents, families and people like us who's children have terminal illness the best of respite and end of life care.
I thank you in anticipation of your support
