Having lost my Dad due to Cancer in 2000, I had long wondered what I could do in his memory. Finally, in 2013 I came up with the idea of a run between the village where he lived for much of his life, to the village where he worked for much of his life !  To make it easier, from Polesworth Garage where I have worked for 24 years, to my pub, The Office at Warton!   Last year, we ran in memory of school friend and run supporter, Karen Abbott, and this year, we add Bill Newbold to the list of tributes. It was Bill who started Polesworth Garage, 50 years ago, Bill that employed me, and Bill who was a regular at The Office !  In the 3 years to date we have raised over £27,000 for Cancer Research, and of that I am immensely proud !  So join us this year, £10 each includes a tshirt & medal, or £25 for a family of 4 (2 adults/2 kids).  Every penny goes to CR, and all costs are covered by PG!  if you can't take part please sponsor me, or donate here.
