My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Running a marathon has been on my "bucket list" for a while, so when some friends suggested I tackle the London Marathon in support of the Shooting Star Children's Hospice, it was really a no-brainer. Here I get to shoot two birds with one stone - train for and attempt to finish a marathon AND raise money for a phenomonal program that provides extraordinary services and support to families with terminally ill children.

I've been training after work and on the weekends, and while it's not been the easiest thing so far, I'm confident that I can finish on April 22.  I've been working on the fitness / race-day side of things, now I need your help to help me meet my fundraising goals for Shooting Star.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
