On November 12 I will be jumping out of a light aircraft at 15,000 feet, that’s 3 MILES high! to raise money for the West Of England School & College For Young People With Little Or No Sight.
This is a charity that is very close to my heart, I am now employed there, I was also educated at the school for six years from 1975 where I lived as a boarder.
Every learner at the School & College is blind or severely visually impaired, however around 95% have additional disabilities and complex needs. This sounds sad but the truth is that this school & college is full of high achievers. Learners are determined and positive, there is a ‘can do’ attitude here and everyone involved strives to maximise each learner’s full potential.
The West Of England School is a non-maintained specialist education provider, this basically means that although the basic education needs of each learner is covered by local authorities, this falls well short of what is required to create a stimulating living and learning environment. Specialist equipment, activities and independent living skills are essential to the personal development of our young people. These areas are almost totally reliant on charity fundraising events and donations.
Please help me to raise valuable funds for the West Of England School And College For young people with little or no sight. Every penny we get is put to good use and makes a real difference to the lives of our learners.

Many thanks for your support.
